Applications of remote sensing and GIS techniques are continuously being used to infer the groundwater resources quantitatively as well as qualitatively throughout the world. Surface manifestations of aquifer parameter are inferred with multi-spectral satellite data as well as resistivity and magnetic data integrated GIS format. Normalized difference Vegetation Index correlation with the electrical conductivity and magnetic anomaly of the aquifer has the potential to locate the availability of subsurface water and its quality with high precision and accuracy.
